The Royal Australian Mint has produced specially made coins for the 2011 Australasian Numismatic Dealers Association Shows. This exclusive series, Capital Bridges, will depict an iconic bridge from each hosting state.

Coin Features - Princes Bridge – Melbourne Melbourne’s Princes Bridge is the third to occupy the same location on the Yarra River. Punts carried passengers prior to the first wooden trestle bridge’s construction in 1844. Today’s bridge was constructed in 1888.

 Presented in an illustrated card with a capsule to protect the coin with a frosted uncirculated finish

Benefits This coin was designed specifically for the Melbourne ANDA coin show. Other ANDA  coins will also be specific to the city in which the ANDA show is being held.
