In 1947 Australia provided the first UN peacekeepers in Indonesia. Over 30,000 Australians have served in over 50 international peacekeeping missions.
Our Peacekeepers have come from the army, navey, and air force, the police and civial organisations. With compassion, they have helped many people whose lives have been affected by conflict.
